As responsible citizens of this beautiful country that we all love so much, the people of Van’s Auctioneers share in the concerns and measures that have been announced and put in place to restrict the effect and spread of the Covid-19 virus.
We want to assure all prospective buyers and people who show interest in our activities and especially our auctions that all measures possible have been and will be put in place to protect everyone’s health and safety.
As determined by the restrictive measures that were announced by President Ramaphosa, and further restrictions imposed, the offices of our firm will be closed from Friday, 27 March 2020 and open on Friday, 17 April 2020.
Despite this we undertake and endeavour for our operations to continue as far as possible and within the framework of the restrictions. All our essential staff will work and be available from home. We urge everyone to make contact with us in any of the following ways during this time:
We urge all prospective buyers to pay careful attention to upcoming auctions.
We are glad to inform everybody that our firm has the facilities available to host all auctions online as timed auctions if needs be. We do anticipate that auctions that are scheduled for the near future will all be hosted online and not on-site, even auctions of immovable properties. All marketing of these auctions will clearly indicate if they will be done online, as well as the times and details of the process.
We thank all our clients for their continued support during these times. As a nation and citizens of this country we will get through these trying times and emerge stronger.
